Open Your Closet was founded in 2017 by a college student in his apartment, driven by a passion for fashion and entrepreneurship. What started as reselling products from vendors quickly turned into something bigger. After attending trade shows and learning the ropes of wholesale and resale, one challenge stood out: inconsistent quality and unreliable inventory.
Motivated to find a better way, he researched and tested garments from dependable wholesalers. He then invested in Direct-to-Garment (DTG), Direct-to-Transfer (DTG) and embroidery machines, allowing full control over the customization process — and the ability to turn client visions into reality.
Today, Open Your Closet operates from Charlotte, NC, customizing and shipping apparel and promotional products nationwide. We’re proud to be a certified Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) in North Carolina.
